AGM- April 27th

Hello NIFHA players,

As our previous email stated, our Annual General Meeting this Saturday on April 27th at 4PM-7PM at James Street Games Room (77 Victoria Crescent).

This is a NIFHA members only meeting.

This meeting is very important as we would like to discuss some potential changes we could make to the league structure for next season. This is also the time for any feedback, questions, or suggestions to be made.

Two of our league's regular season referees will be in attendance to answer any questions you may have, as well as providing some 'door security' at the event and walking people to their vehicles at the end of the night.

During this meeting we will also be taking volunteers for positions on the board. It should be highlighted that all Director positions are 1 year terms. All Directors shall be elected annually at the AGM; however, retiring Directors shall be eligible for re-election, maximum up to 3 years. Some of the current board members have indicated they would like to return to their existing position or run for another position on the board and will be submitting nomination forms for election—see details below.

In addition, if there is more than one person interested in a specific position, we will hold a vote.

If you are interested in a position on the board, we typically meet once, sometimes twice, a month on Tuesdays/Wednesday/Thursdays in the evenings for about 2 hours.
